Where to Play?

Centennial Park
Centennial Park is located just South West of 6th and Iowa Street. This is the main course in Lawrence with parking lots on both the east and west (rocket ship) sides.  Nothing is too technical on Centennial with a combination of short and long holes. The course was recently (spring 2017) upgraded with new baskets and pea gravel by Lawrence Rec Department and the Kaw Valley Disc Golf Club.  The park features bathrooms, shelters and a skate park.  Right next to the park is Biemer's BBQ.

River Front Park
River Front is the second main course within Lawrence, KS.  Built in 2005, this north of the river course is a bit more technical than Centennial with lots of trees.  Tee pads are gravel and each is used for two holes for a total of 18 holes.

Bloomington Disc Golf Course
Bloomington is an 18 hole course on the south side of Clinton Lake, located in the Bloomington Public Use area.  Tees are all concrete and this is an 18 hole course.  Each hole has 4 pin positions.  Course is moderately wooded while a few holes are heavily wooded.  A lot of work has gone into this course in 2016-2017.

Bob Mowery's Meadows
The Meadows is a fun 11 hole course on the north side of Clinton Lake, within the State Park.  A perfect place to play when camping or bike riding in the park.  If you drive in, the park fee is $5 per vehicle per day.  This course is mostly flat with lots of evergreen trees surrounding the fairways. All Tee pads gravel.

Kanza Park
Located in Ottawa, KS, Kanza Park is a fun 18 hole course with fairly open shots. It has very midly rolling terrain but no significant elevation changes. This course features concrete teepads and is located in a public park. The park and course is maintained by the Ottawa Recreation Commission.

Maverick Disc Golf
Rob Martin is Maverick.  Lawrence’s own disc golf tournament promoter.  Maverick runs great tournaments and has been awesome at promoting the game in Lawrence and surrounding cities.  His tournaments are always well run.  Maverick has some of his unique tournament discs and a selection of other discs on this eBay store http://stores.ebay.com/maverickdiscgolf

Kaw Valley Disc Golf Club
Kaw Valley Disc golf league, also known as the Lawrence Disc Golf League has many members with about 35 weekly active members.  The group plays together once per week, usually on Tuesday evenings, rotating through the public and a few private courses.  Different rules are often used for team play.  If you want to join a social group for disc golf in Lawrence, this is it.

Dynamic Winter Putting League
With the support of the great players in the Lawrence communty, DZ Discs and Dynamic Discs hosts an indoor putting league each winter.  This is a weekly 6 week league in Lawrence.  Details and location annouced in December.
