Archer's Park

Located across the street from Bob Mowery’s in the Clinton Lake State Park (5 dollar day pass/25 dollar year pass), Archers disc golf course is an interesting 9 hole tract that is named after the archery course which shares a parking lot with it and was designed and installed by KVDGC board member Hans Coleman in 2016. The course does not have tee signs and also only has natural tee pads but the layout is fairly intuitive after you find hole one. Newer Players to the course would do well to check out the layout on U disc to make sure to know what direction to head for the next hole but most baskets are visible from the tee pad.

The course features a mostly open design with a few more narrow shots required as well. A few of the holes play across or directly next to the road which is something to keep in mind as your disc may get a little scratched if you make a few errors with your tee shots. Overall, Archers is a great option for people looking to get in a quick round and not have to deal with any backups or overcrowding while also getting to play a unique and fun course.
