Dusty R. I’ve wanted a Max Distance retriever for a while. I’ve gone through so many of the metal ones, they bend so easily. The XF20 is near indestructible, it weighs about the same as my old metal retriever but can reach farther so it’s definitely lighter at a 1:1 level. It has little give to it so you can really get pressure on your disc so the suction cups can get a good seal. The suction ball is also really well made. I’ve had ones off of amazon that will lose suction cups left and right but so far this one holds up perfectly. I’ll probably be investing in a glow ball at some point.
While the price is steep up front, I do believe this is a buy it for life product. You can replace a broken section instead of replacing the entire thing, resulting in more savings and less waste in the long run.
