Feels like I-blend, kind of stiff, kind of grainy to be honest. Probably the most US Scorch I've thrown even at 173g. My biggest issue with the plastic was that in the humidity it slipped out of my hands, even with chalk. Definitely a disc you don't want wet.
I love that Kasta finally made a truly stable midrange. Could definitely make for a solid goto. It does not handle OAT very well though. I don't have the smoothest FH, so this thing comes out like a wounded duck for me unfortunately.
cheap towel that ripped from my bag the first time I used it. Chinese made garbage.
A cool disc all things considered! These first runs are definitely overstable to start, so beware of that if you’re expecting flip. It’s a cool utility disc that could earn a spot in your bag.
Love the stability of the Halo discs. Once broken in you can stick it on any angle you want and it’ll hold.
I love it just as a marker, but also as a disc 🤣 This thing flys great! And the kiddo can throw it also and not feel left out! Love it all around!
Have around 400ft of power and wanted a new understable driver for smooth turnovers and right-finishing flights. I certainly do not have the best form, but I found myself constantly burning the disc into the ground and the flight ending in a cut roller, the only way I can throw it to finish how I want is if I throw it 50%. Design and hand feel are obviously great but for an 11 6 -2 2 disc, I thought it was way too understable, especially for it being in halo plastic.
I bought this as a downwind driver/fairway disc for downwind shots. Plies very straight. hyzer fiips well, but not a full turnover. Doesn't fade hard at end. Still haven't used in a head wind yet. Has a great feeling plastic that is just tacky enough.
Wasn't for me, but definitely true to the flight numbers.
ESP FLX Scorch was a pretty decent bomber, out of the box I could get it to hyzerlip, on slight anny it'll ride the line pretty far, but it does drop out of the sky with forward fade. Definitely a great glider for lineshapers!
Great disc and love the colors!
