The G-Star Premium Disc Golf Starter Set is designed to give new players a high-quality introduction to disc golf without relying on low-end baseline plastics. G-Star is Innova’s grippy version of Star plastic, developed specifically to perform well in all weather conditions while maintaining excellent durability.

G-Star plastic is soft, flexible, and comfortable in the hand. While not sticky or tacky, it offers excellent grip and naturally contours to your fingers when squeezed. This softer feel makes it especially effective in cold weather, when many disc plastics become stiff and uncomfortable.

This set includes three discs: a putter, a fairway driver, and a distance driver. All discs are produced in premium G-Star plastic, which is why this is classified as a premium starter set. Unlike baseline plastics such as DX, G-Star resists scuffing, denting, and excessive wear from trees, pavement, or hard impacts.

The discs in this set typically fall in the medium weight range, generally between 160 and 170 grams. This makes them ideal for beginners while still being useful for lower intermediate players as skills develop.

Exact disc molds may vary, but each set includes beginner and intermediate friendly molds that are easy to throw and forgiving. These are not advanced-only or high-speed discs.
