Kastaplast Sten – PDGA-Approved Catch Disc & Beginner-Friendly Thrower

The Kastaplast Sten is a super fun, PDGA-approved catch disc that doubles as a perfect introduction to disc golf. Despite its name (“stone”), the Sten is soft, grippy, and lightweight—easy to control and easy to love from your first throw.

Key Features

• Beginner-friendly: great for learning form, casual catch, and smooth field work.
• Lightweight floater: approx. 127 g for effortless glide and touch.
• Comfortable grip: puddle-top profile makes it easy to hold and release cleanly.
• Soft & tacky feel: holds in the hand even in cooler or damp conditions.
• Angle-holding flight: responds to your release—great for gentle turnovers and hyzers.

Flight & Control

No official flight numbers, but expect a straight-flying disc with a small, reliable fade at the finish. The Sten tends to hold the angle you put on it, making it ideal for learning hyzer/anhyzer control and shaping easy lines.
